Facilities for Hire
Most of the College's facilities are available for public hire or loan
Whatever the function or event there is every likelihood that we will be able to help. Please contact the Community Activities Department for more details
Bank holidays apart, we are available 7 days a week, almost 52 weeks a year
Extensions for major events such as dances to be arranged, (up to 12 midnight) by special arrangement with the Administration Manager
Caretakers, technicians and office staff are available at all times to arrange the hire of equipment
The College is licensed for public music, singing and dancing. Bar facilities must be arranged by the hirer who is also responsible for arranging a bar license
Dinners, buffets etc. can be arranged in conjunction with the Kitchen Supervisor
NO SMOKING:
Please note that all facilities are 'No Smoking' areas
Main Hall:
Dances, Dinner Dances, Drama productions, Displays/Exhibitions, Conferences, private and public meetings
ICT Suites:
Facilities in the Information Technology Suites equipped with around 300 high specification multimedia computers, inkjet and laser printers and broadband internet connection. All computers have Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office software installed
Drama Studio and Music facilities:
A fully equipped drama studio; small recording studio, large music room and small music practise rooms
Dark Room:
Traditional Dark room facilities are available e.g. enlarger, developing equipment, etc.
Shower / Changing Rooms:
For all indoor and outdoor sports
Kitchen:
Dinners, Wedding Receptions, Coffee/Tea, Snacks etc.
Classrooms:
Most available, seat up to 30
Field and Hardcourt:
Available for most one-off events, fetes, parties, tennis
Youth & Community Centre:
Contains lounge, small hall, well stocked kitchen, table tennis, pool table, craft room and small lounge with T.V. and video
Youth & Equipment Loan:
A few items of general equipment are available to ‘education’ groups - digital projector and video equipment
Disabled:
A number of teaching and meeting rooms are suitable for wheelchair access
